Alexandra brings a unique lens to the climate and social justice field by integrating knowledge of her cultural upbringing as a 1st generation Black-Mexican American from the borderland of El Paso, Texas, and her educational background in governance, sociology, anthropology and international development.

Additionally, her experience as a frontline community organizer and her work in environmental tort litigation, judicial proceedings, global energy policy, decarbonization and advisory in climate justice, Alexandra offers a synthesized approach to building and evolving social structures fit for handling the challenges and opportunities of the new era.
